Don't know if you've been keeping up with the news on the new right of centre Government in IKEAland? It's a disaster as the new Cabinet members have all be telling porkies. Today's great resignation story is that the newly appointed Minister for Culture has had to fall on her aerial after it was discovered she hadn't paid her TV license for 16 years!!

We in Ireland note the irony that the leader resigns because she hasn' tpaid her license fee, but our premier Bertie won't resign after having received monies that he oughn't too...
A lot of people here are saying that it is all wrong!!!
You should hear about our politicians! It seems they are the same all the world over. Who'd want to be one? Maybe that's why they are such losers - only losers are interested in being one.
Barbara I think Bertie has a bare faced cheek to cling on.
But like CB says they're all chancers these days. Look at our lot, Mandelson and Blunkett behaved outrageously and yet Blair reappointed them time after time.
I think we stagger on in spite of our politicians. I used to work up close and personal with them as a civil servant and there were very few I had any respect for.
