Moon landings
I've enjoyed this week's series on the Moon by Jeanette Winterson on BBC Radio 4, to commemorate the moon landings of 1969.
After listening to the programmes I found a great archive of photographs on the NASA history site. Including this amazing composite, simply entitled "Buzz on the porch".

It's been reported that the original magnetic tapes of that first step were most likely lost when they were accidentally taped over by NASA officials (shocking). They are now working to digitally enhance the best broadcast tapes still to be found.
Jeanette Winterson's programmes have been extremely interesting and thought-provoking.

C it was good wasn't it. To my mind she has one of the best websites going, and she's a great supporter of poetry.
