For all my fellow Scrooges out there, Cyndi and the Hives try a Pogues type song.
Wisdom for the credit crunch from Dickens: “My other piece of advice, Copperfield,” said Mr. Micawber, “you know. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery. The blossom is blighted, the leaf is withered, the god of day goes down upon the dreary scene, and—and, in short, you are for ever floored. As I am!”

Love it to bits, A. It's gone to my No. 1 already.
Ha! A little of dark humour to add to Christmas irony. My fav song title this year? 'Get Behind Me Santa'
Delightful- i particularly liked the chap - sounds a bit like Elvis Costello.
It's not got Kirsty McColl's subtley, but it knocks all the jingle bells stuff into a cocked hat.
I don't know when I've felt less like Christmas, the older I get the more of a farce it seems.
I like a nice family meal, but beyond that I'm just "not bovvered"
