So you think January sucks?
Julia was very kind to me when I was first diagnosed with cancer, her initial treatment was similar to mine, and she helped take some of the fear of having a mastectomy away.
Sadly her cancer has now spread to her brain and she has a host of other complications.
But she keeps going, here's a typical post from her:
I hate all the fight shite cliches that are used about cancer, but this is quiet and dignified courage.

Just read Julia's post. She sounds like a special gal.
Laughing about your water rant. I live in what is supposed to be one of the cleanest places in the world
If anybody told me 10 years ago I would be buying bottled water I'd have laughed at them.
I buy it now - too many chemicals in the wells. We do want nice unblemished produce now don't we.
Hope your holidays were wonderful
dear heart.
That is sad. I have had a tearful day as I heard this morning that my ex business partner died on New Year's Eve. She was at least ten years older than I am so has had a good life and her family were round her but it still makes me cry.
Yes she is a very nice, strong woman.
Pi sorry about your friend, it's never easy irrespective of age.
