Podcast
Our Writers Group is featured on this podcast. I have a couple of poems on it, though I sound about 5 years old.
Wisdom for the credit crunch from Dickens: “My other piece of advice, Copperfield,” said Mr. Micawber, “you know. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery. The blossom is blighted, the leaf is withered, the god of day goes down upon the dreary scene, and—and, in short, you are for ever floored. As I am!”

Oh it's lovely to hear your voice reading your own poetry. Beautiful, Anna!
I did enjoy thatand just proves what I've done:I've given you an award over at my site. If you like it you can pass it on to 5 others you think deserve it.
Thanks Sam, and Pat thank you for the lovely words on your blog. I'll catch up with it when I've more time, as I said I have my FIL with me just now.

Aw thanks Savannah. I need to work on my reading. My voice has got deeper since radiotherapy
Yes, I agree with sam and savannah - you have a lovely voice, and hearing the poet read her own words is fantastic!
Also, while I'm here, congratulations on both placements in the literary contest. I don't know why but to me, getting both 2nd and 3rd is practically a 1st, isn't it? :)
Thanks f:lux. I was chuffed to get anything really, but I know what you mean.
What a fantastic idea - and I loved hearing your voice. What a treat. The dandelion poem is a beaut.
I LOVE your podcase, and I really like your accent, it's so lovely!
What a huge thrill for me!
Beautiful music, and ideas.
I wasn't expecting any of it, and am very pleasantly surprised.

Thanks CB. Debs my writer friend set this up. She brings a laptop to our meetings with a mic attachment and then makes a podcast from the edited material using the host folks downloaded programme. It goes onto i-tunes podcasts too under Tyne Esk I think.
Thanks WS, I just have a lowland Scots accent - we roll our "r's" lol!
